About the Receptor restaurant
Receptor is a place born out of love for great food, beautiful spaces, and the spirit of Belgrade. Located on Karađorđeva Street, just steps from the river, our restaurant blends the best of two worlds – a rich culinary tradition and a modern approach that follows current gastronomic trends.
We believe in the power of familiar flavors, but present them in a new way. Our menu is based on time-tested recipes, with modern twists that bring a sense of freshness without losing authenticity. Each dish is crafted from carefully selected, fresh ingredients, with a focus on quality and seasonality.

SERBIAN URBAN CUISINE
A gastronomic journey can begin here, with marinated beef tongue in porcini mushroom sauce, smoked beef steak with burrata specially smoked with cold smoke, or with bone marrow accompanied by forest fruit and truffle jam. From the starters section, for those not in the mood for red meat, there is the phenomenal thinly sliced smoked tuna with dehydrated raspberries and red pepper.
Cvetković’s signature dish – smoked pork knuckle with kajmak (a type of creamy dairy product), which came with Receptor and immediately stood out, followed by the very tender pork shank with mlinci (a type of flatbread) that is roasted for five hours and served on a heated plate while still sizzling.
Receptor is a restaurant that adapts traditional dishes, which represent Serbian culinary heritage, to the taste of modern guests according to its own recipes.
The wine list nicely complements the story told by the menu, focusing on domestic labels, and the kitchen is open until 10:30 PM every day, except Monday when the restaurant is closed.
